The Carlisle Tennis Club (CTC) is situated in the heart of the Palomino subdivision in the lovely community of Carlisle, within the City of Hamilton. We have two lighted and screened courts, a modest club facility and a playground adjacent to the courts for children.
The CTC is an incorporated Not-for-Profit summer social and semi-competitive tennis club run by volunteers, including an elected Executive.
We have a very active membership of close to 300 adult and junior members. There are plenty of activities to suit everyone’s tennis game whether you wish to play doubles with the ladies or men, engage in a friendly mixed social, take a few lessons, or play on our rural inter-club team – two time winners of the coveted “Pink Flamingo” trophy.
The CTC is thrilled to be able to offer the expertise and experience of Judith Pridham-Millar and Brian Millar to its membership. Judith and Brian have been coaching tennis for over twenty-five and thirty years respectively.
As a Junior, Judith achieved four Canadian and three Provincial Championships. She played on the pro circuit for two years, and with such achievements, Judith was given a full tennis scholarship to SMU in Dallas, Texas.
Brian Millar brings with him a wealth of experience and leadership, which includes working with the Kilbride Tennis Club.
Judith has been the tennis pro at the North Burlington Tennis Club for over ten years. Brian works all year round as the head pro at Headwaters Racquet Club just west of Orangeville, but has been a tennis pro in the Burlington area for most of his career. Tennis is their passion, and they offer their love for tennis to all levels of enthusiasts who wish to learn the game, improve their skills, and participate in a full body workout.
